STEREO BRASS & MAHOGANY

Stereo Brass & Mahogany camera are very desirable, they normally are valued at approx double the value of the equivalent non stereo cameras.  If offered a stereo camera always check that the lenses are a matched pair, serial numbers, if present, are usually similar. There should be an internal septum separating the left and right light paths. In a bellows camera they are usually made of a bellows material. It is often missing.

This camera is unnamed but probably made by Lancaster in the UK. It has Tailboard construction and  a matched pair of Lancaster lenses.

This is another unnamed stereo camera. Of tailboard construction it also has a replacement lens panel with a Koilos shutter so that normal photographs can be taken.
